Continuing Education Fund has been Reinstated and Extended to MIIS

Middlebury recognizes the importance of fostering learning and development opportunities for all members of our community and is pleased to announce that the Continuing Education Fund has been fully reinstated effective immediately and extended to our colleagues in Monterey.  The Continuing Education Fund is available for the benefit of all Middlebury staff who are interested in continuing their personal and/or professional development. Through this fund, Middlebury provides support to eligible staff who wish to enroll in credit-bearing courses from an accredited program or institution.

What’s on Tap for Well-Being… Weeks of 11/22 and 11/29

Seeking volunteers!  GMHEC will be holding well-being fairs on each of our college campuses in the spring of 2022 and we’re looking for volunteers to participate on a planning committee.  Learn more here.

New fitness classes….

Tuesdays 6:15-7:00 am EST.  Bootcamp with Mary Stetson:  Start your day with 45 minutes of fast paced interval training. This class combines cardio bursts, strength training, core exercises and flexibility to balance your fitness training. Participants will need hand weights, resistance bands and their own body weight as props in this class.  Zoom Passcode A3pUgH. 

Thursdays, 6:15-7:00 am EST.  Strength and Core with Kim Jacobs:  A 45-minute class of total body, multi-joint strength exercises combined with functional core exercises and a stretch finale. This class will help produce healthy strong joints to promote independent high-quality living.  Zoom Passcode strong. 

Virtual Food and Mood:  Join The Edge dietitians for this comprehensive program focusing on supporting your mental health and well-being through nutrition. This program includes weekly group educational sessions along with three 1-on-1 tele nutrition sessions.  Tuesdays, November 30th through January 18th.  Noon-1:00 pm EST via zoom.  $80 with most insurance plans.  Partial scholarships may be available through GMHEC.  Click here to learn more about the program.   To register, contact genavix@edgevt.com or call (802) 951-2320.  To inquire about a scholarship, contact Rebecca.schubert@gmhec.org.

Open Enrollment for 2022 Benefits is Here!

Open Enrollment for 2022 Benefits is from October 29 through November 12, 2021.  

This is your opportunity to enroll in and make changes to your benefit elections via self-service in Oracle HCM effective January 1, 2022.   As a benefits eligible employee, you are being asked to take an active role in Open Enrollment by logging in to Oracle and confirming or changing your elections.

The following 2022 Open Enrollment informational sessions will be provided to you. These sessions will provide a brief overview of 2022 Benefits as well as tips & tricks to complete enrollment in Oracle HCM.  Please mark your own calendar to save the date and attend.

The Edge HealthyCARETM 90 Day Program is back in person or remote. This 13-week comprehensive wellness program is designed to enrich your life and health. Open Enrollment for 2022 Benefits will be from October 29 through November 12, 2021.  This will be your opportunity to enroll in and make changes to your benefit elections effective January 1, 2022.

Beginning October 29th, please log in to Oracle to complete your 2022 Benefits Enrollment.  
All Benefit Eligible Employees are being asked to take an active role in 2022 Open Enrollment by logging in to Oracle to elect and confirm their 2022 Benefits.  Detailed enrollment instructions will follow in the 2022 Benefit Guide.

Enroll early!  Employees who have completed the 2022 Open Enrollment Process by Thursday, November 4th will be entered into a drawing to win a Garmin Forerunner 35 Watch!
