Adirondack House’s Coltrane Lounge (534 College Street)
Please help support our Middlebury Alternative Break Trip as we raise money for our trip, Women’s Empowerment in the Dominican Republic. Working through the Mariposa DR foundation, we are committed to helping children, specifically young women, gain access to quality education and a comfortable environment where they can develop a strong sense of self. We will work to develop English programs and sustainability initiatives within the community.
Kids’ Night Out will include: African Dance Workshop, Face Painting, Games, Kid Friendly Movie, Healthy Nut-Free Snacks (List of snacks will be available at the door)
Ages four and up!
Cost: $20 for the first child, $10 for each additional sibling
IMPORTANT: Parents are required to sign a general release form in order for their children to participate (provided on-site). Parents must be the ones to drop off and pick up their children.
Note: This is a great opportunity for parents interested in attending Majora Carter’s keynote lecture during the Second Annual Social Entrepreneurship Symposium while simultaneously knowing your kids are safe and having a great time!
