Are you curious about how economic theory translates into the real world? Students in the club reached out to me and asked to spread the word. Check it out!

Fed Challenge is an academic-affiliated club that competes at the annual Boston Federal Reserve Challenge in the fall. The competition involves 20 colleges in the Northeast contending to curate and present the best monetary policy recommendation to panels of economists. No prior experience or major declaration is required––only a willingness to learn!

Weekly meetings consist of macroeconomic briefings, debates, and seminar-style discussions of current events, their impact on the US economy, and actions the Federal Reserve can take in response. Students joining the club can expect to learn how economic theory from classes translate into the real world and develop a keen eye for current economic affairs in the US and internationally.
