Dear Middlebury Community,
The Student Government Association (SGA) has made it a priority to promote justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion on our campus.
To further our work, we’ve launched JusticeProjects—to support programs and projects that lift up historically marginalized students at Middlebury.
Beginning this spring, we will invite student proposals for innovative ideas that help underrepresented students take advantage of all that Middlebury has to offer. We look forward to funding student-led initiatives as well as the important work of the Anderson Freeman Center, the Scott and Chellis Centers, and International Student Services.
On February 10 and 11, we are asking the alumni community to support this project through a two-day fundraising campaign with a goal of raising $50,000. We invite you to follow the campaign’s progress here and promote it by liking and sharing on social media.
The senior class of ’21 and ’21.5 will join with our alumni to raise funds to support the JusticeProjects. Gifts to JusticeProjects (up to $250) will be matched dollar for dollar (up to $50,000) by Middlebury trustees, and we welcome support from the Middlebury community.
With your help, we can ensure that every student—regardless of socioeconomic status or identity—has access to the full promise of a Middlebury education.
