The American Farm School & Perrotis College are located just outside the city of Thessaloniki in Northern Greece; a vibrant city of 1.2 million people. We are a unique American-founded residential institution educating Greek students from all over the country – villages and islands – and 100% of our high school and college students receive scholarships to attend. Our diversified educational farm serves as a living laboratory that supports applied research and hands-on learning (www.afs.edu.gr) and our teaching team is dedicated to a learn-by-doing approach to the education of students in the areas of agriculture, the environment, and other life sciences related to our sustainable future. Building on more than a century-long tradition of educating stewards of the land, the American Farm School prepares future leaders who value the wise use of natural resources, preservation of the environment, the application of life sciences to solving problems, the importance of community service, and effective utilization of information technology.

We have been running a post-bachelor fellow program for many years and have found them to be an excellent
addition to our vital campus life. They act as professional colleagues to our experienced staff while becoming
themselves ardent students of Greek culture and life.

We are pleased to offer five post-bachelor fellow positions for the 2020-2021 academic year ranging from student life administration to English language teaching to a writing fellow.

To apply for any of the fellow positions, you must first attend a mandatory informational webinar (offered on multiple dates in November & December 2019). Afterwards, you will receive a link to the online application, and further instructions to complete your application (including how to submit your CV/Resume, Statement of Interest, and Two Recommendation Letters). To register for the informational webinar, please email Leighanne Penna at fellows@afs.edu.gr

Completed application and all supplementary documents must be submitted by 12:00am (midnight EST) Monday, January 20, 2020. Qualified applicants will be notified via email to arrange a Skype interview. Skype interviews will be held in late January / early February and the selection process will finish before March 1, 2020.
