Office of U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand seeks a personable, dependable and professional Constituent Liaison to address and resolve inquiries from constituents regarding their immigration and foreign affairs casework.
Constituent Liaison will assist constituents with matters under the jurisdiction of the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of State. Responsibilities will include working with Congressional Liaisons at federal agencies to resolve constituent cases and handle a high volume of cases from across New York State. The liaison will also be responsible for maintaining up-to-date case file records and will contribute to the training and management of interns. Preferred candidate has a minimum of one year of immigration experience.
Applicants must be self-motivated team players; able to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality; detail-oriented and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
