Each Winter Term, many Middlebury students participate in internships.  These internships are a valuable opportunity to earn academic credit while having high-level exposure to work tied to your academic and/or professional interests.

Here is a fantastic opportunity to work with our alumni at Focus Advisory Services in Los Angeles!

Duties will include analyzing film performance results, performing film industry research, preparing financial reports, creating business presentations, writing industry analyses, reading scripts, and light office work, including phones.
Interns will work on creating client presentations, conducting industry research, collating and analyzing proprietary data and building moderately complex spreadsheets.
Students will be supervised by one of two executives with graduate degrees in finance and over 15 years of entertainment experience and will learn what clients expect presentations and charts to look like, will increase their proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint and learn how to navigate and key industry websites for research purposes.
Many of Focus Advisory’s past interns are working in the finance or strategic planning areas in the entertainment business. Others are working at Price Waterhouse, Bank of America, Hearst, and GE Capital.

Apply now, interviews happen on a rolling basis.
