The Vermont Democratic House Campaign is looking for campaign fellows to help get more good Democrats elected to the House of Representatives around Vermont.
Fellows will be employed for 25 hours a week working on targeted House races through Election Day. Fellows will spend one day a week working with their clustered candidates on reporting and tracking data for the House Campaign, and volunteer recruitment for their clustered candidates for the week. They will help with data entry and collate information on funds raised, doors knocked, phones dialed, and IDs to report to the House Campaign Director.
Fellows will spend one additional evening per week with each candidate on tasks that are most effective for that candidate that work with their schedule – managing a phone bank, helping with knocking, or staffing fundraising call time. Fellows will rotate through their assigned candidates for one weekend day per week. They will spend at least one weekend day with each of their candidates knocking on doors with them and managing a canvass.
Qualified candidates should have strong written and verbal communications skills and a knowledge of Google Suite programs, including Sheets and Docs. Fellows will be trained in
campaigns and on voter contact management programs used by the VDP. Ideal fellows will be able to travel to their assigned candidates on evenings and weekends. These positions come
with a stipend that will be paid semi-monthly.
