The Bernard Koteen Office of Public Interest Advising (OPIA) at Harvard Law School seeks 4 undergraduates to work as Public Interest Fellows for the upcoming summer. OPIA is staffed by a team of dedicated attorney advisors and a dynamic administrative team and provides career counseling and support to thousands of law students and alumni every year who are interested in pursuing public service work during the summer or as part of their long-term career goals. While this position is not a legal internship, it does offers broad exposure to the legal profession, particularly for someone contemplating a career in public interest law, and someone interested in law school generally.

Public Policy and Regulation Intern at Holland & Knight LLP in DC

We are searching for intern candidates with a strong interest in the field of federal government relations and public policy. During their time at Holland & Knight, interns can expect to conduct substantive issue research, attend congressional and executive branch agency hearings, draft memorandums, prepare white papers and presentations for client meetings and provide general administrative support. Student interns will participate in regular meetings with firm’s senior personnel to discuss their practices, backgrounds and experiences.

Cities Thrive is a coalition of more than 200 Mayors working to create a stronger, better funded, and more integrated mental health system for all Americans. Cities Thrive is built on the foundation of ThriveNYC: New York’s Mental Health Roadmap. ThriveNYC is a plan of action, developed by experts, providers and communities. The Plan includes 54 initiatives to ensure all New Yorkers have access to timely, high quality behavioral health care.

Relman, Dane & Colfax, PLLC is seeking paralegals to begin a two-year commitment in early summer 2018. We are a civil rights law firm that focuses on cases in the areas of housing, lending, employment, education, and public accommodations. LEAP 2018 Leadership In Action Program

Approaching its 21st year, Leadership In Action (LIA) is an eight-week, paid summer internship program located in Southern California. LIA offers a unique opportunity for the next generation of community leaders to receive personal leadership development and practical workforce training in the nonprofit sector. Interns kick off the program with a week of training, followed by additional training once a week for the length of the program. They are also placed at a Southern California nonprofit organization for four days a week for the last seven weeks of the program.
