- In the most recent posting to her blog, “One Dean’s View,” Dean of the College Shirley Collado invited SGA president Charles Arnowitz ’13 to talk about his role on campus and his thoughts about engaging with the college as an institution, from the administration in Old Chapel to the Board of Trustees.
- With election day fast approaching and partisan stress levels peaking, take a listen to what our very own Professor Pundits had to say in their latest video. - Class of ’88 alum Dwight Gardner was on campus last week to talk about his life experiences leading up to and during his tenure as a literary critic at the New York Times. The annual Robert W. van de Velde Jr. ’75 Memorial Lecture, titled “The Future of Book Criticism,” attracted a packed audience of students and community members. - This Thursday at 7:30 p.m. be sure to catch the latest “Meet the Press” speaker Peter Bienart. The provocative political writer will be in the RAJ conference room, where he will most likely discuss his recent book, The Crisis of Zionism, as well as his well-read Daily Beast blog, “Open Zion.”
- After a 7-0 win over Connecticut College in the NESCAC quarterfinals, the women’s field hockey team—undefeated still!—will host Amherst at 11 a.m. Saturday. If victorious once again, they’ll take on the winner of the Tufts v. Bowdoin match for the championship game at noon on Sunday.
