The class of 2012 raised an already high bar even higher this year, with eight students awarded Fulbright fellowships to continue their studies after Middlebury. It’s the highest number of student Fulbright fellowships awarded to Middlebury students to date. The Fulbright program offers fellowships for U.S. graduating college seniors, graduate students, young professionals, and artists to study, conduct research, or be an English teaching assistant abroad for one academic year. The Midd Fulbright recipients will cover a wide geographic area, including Ecuador, Mauritius, China, Korea, Germany, Colombia, and Vietnam. Check out our full story on these remarkable students, and other fellowship winners at the Middlebury College News Room. It was also a banner year for students at the Monterey Institute for International Studies, with a record six students awarded Fulbright fellowships.
