Friday’s focus: John Graham Shelter Assistant, Vergennes, VT
Spend J Term as an assistant at the John Graham Shelter in Vergennes! You would assist with the support and case management of homeless families and individuals. In this position you would empower those in the shelter to take the self determined steps to lead happy and fulfilling lives through procuring permanent housing and/or employment. You would reach out to and develop trusting relationships with the homeless individuals in the shelter as you work with them to provide various services.
