Barbara Marlow, associate director of admissions at Middlebury, has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Overseas Association for College Admissions Counseling (OACAC).

At its annual conference in Calgary, Alberta, held July 14-16, the organization honored Marlow for her “many accomplishments over the years and dedication to our profession,” according to OACAC past president Bridget Herrera. OACAC established its Lifetime Achievement Award in 2002 to recognize an individual who has contributed to the profession in a significant and lasting manner. Marlow was not able to attend the conference.

“This award, which represents OACAC’s highest member tribute, is presented to an individual who, over a period of years, has performed outstanding service to OACAC, to our profession, and to the international college counseling community,” Herrera said. “Barbara, you undoubtedly have brought all this and more to the profession – we are truly grateful for your service.”
