Cool Relay for Life type volunteer opportunity
It is called Hope on the Slopes and is basically a Relay help on a downhill ski slope.  Teams ski and snowboard all day to show the strength and endurance you need to beat cancer.  We electronically track their vertical and total distances and intersperse the skiing with theme hours, games, entertainment and speakers.  The event will be held March 12 from 9am-8pm at Bolton Valley Ski Resort in Bolton, about a 1.25 hour drive from lovely Middlebury (hotel deals are available if you want).  For more information see: http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR/CommunityFundraisingPages/CFPFY10NewEngland?pg=entry&fr_id=34535
