Features to be Assessed:
- Groups for email distribution
- Groups used for any other group purposes within Active Directory, eg. WordPress, Segue
- AD allos for nested groups; groups can be members of groups
- Non-admin cannot add somebody who’s not already a member of middlebury.edu
- Can non-admin create groups
- Ability to manage who can do what in groups
- Ability to assign owndership of group so that individuals can manage their own groups
- Group A can be owner of a group B so that all members of Group A can manage Group B
- Mac-based access to administrative functions
- Web-based management
- Cross-platform management
- Export groups out of Exchange/import into Google and ability to sync
- Can membership be hidden? FIRPA issues
