Highway M-505 is a highway in Spain that connects the two cities Galapagar and El Escorial. Highway M-505 merges into M-600 on the western end and M-510 on the eastern end. The “M” before the highway number stands for Madrid.

The word casita is the diminutive of the Spanish word for “house”. Such buildings gave their royal occupants the opportunity to escape some of the formalities of court life.

Letter to a Christian Nation: (Carta a una Nación Cristiana in Spanish)  is a book by Sam Harris, written in response to feedback he received following the publication of his first book The End of Faith. The book is written in the form of an open letter to a Christian in the United States. I would believe it, accept it as true, and then do my best to work itout and understand it. In Origin, Kirsch uses this quote as an example to show how some people are so religious that they actually believe blatantly incorrect information and how science is the only information that we can trust. This is just another argument to support his claim that religion is detrimental to the progression of human beings.
