May Work/Life Webinar:  Organizing for Efficiency

Presented by Renee Kutner. In this seminar we will discuss various techniques to keep one’s work day organized, leading to increased productivity.  We will focus primarily on techniques for paper management, including filing systems, and for time and task management, including how to use calendars and to-do lists. Renee Kutner founded Peace by Piece Organizing to bring order to chaos, and peace to our otherwise hectic lives after spending almost ten years in advertising and marketing, taking a short break to receive her MBA from UCLA.  Renée is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and the Professional Development Director for the Georgia chapter of NAPO.  Thursday, May 9, 2013. 12:00 – 1:00 PM EST. Wellness Work/Life Program Webinar Announcement

Dear Wellness Work/Life Program partner,

In light of last week’s events in Boston, April’s HR/Manager webinar “Sensitivity and Emotional Intelligence within the Workplace” scheduled for Thursday April 25, 2013 has been postponed. We will send out an email notification with the new date and time when the webinar has been rescheduled.

In its place we will be offering two webinars focused on dealing with traumatic events. The first, “Overcoming Trauma and Finding Balance Amidst Uncertainty” will be presented tomorrow, Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 12:00 PM. The second “Effects of Traumatic Events on Children and Families” will be presented Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 12:00 PM. 

The day after they are held live, both of these webinars will be available to stream at any time in the webinar library on our corporate site wellnesscorp.com. The link to that webinar library is here.

GlobeMed Hosts Kids’ Night Out!

GlobeMed Chapter at Middlebury College will be hosting a Babysitting Night event on April 19th from 6-10 pm.  The event will serve as one of the spring fundraisers benefiting GlobeMed at Middlebury’s partner Gardens for Health International in Rwanda.

The event will be held in Kenyon Arena and families will have the opportunity to drop their children off for a fun night of activities under the supervision of Middlebury College students including the Men’s Soccer and Basketball teams.  Activities will include games, movies, and arts and crafts.  Drinks and snacks will also be provided.

It will be $25 per child with a discount of $5 for pre-registration, as well as $5 off for each additional child.  There will be registration at the door as well as pre-registration online by emailing ggutman@middlebury.edu.
