After graduating from Middlebury, I earned my M.Ed. at Boston College and taught various combinations of math and science from grade 5 to grade 8 in Brookline, MA until 2007 when my son was born. I returned to the classroom in 2009. In my teaching I make commitment to creating an environment where students are safe to take intellectual risks and grow personally and academically. I build a community of equity, compassion and with a healthy dose of fun and problem solving in my classroom (in addition to practicing mindfulness with my students).
