Aifuwa Ehigiator, a POSSE Scholar, graduated Middlebury College in 2008 with a joint major in Economics and Women’s and Gender Studies. After graduating from Middlebury, he started working at Bloomberg L.P. in various roles specializing in Fixed Income Electronic Trading. He quit in April 2014 to work on his own company called Our Street(www.OurSt.co). Our Street is a company that uses equity crowdfunding to create energy efficient affordable housing in low income communities. While working on Our Street, he worked part time in Development at St. John’s Bread and Life, the largest emergency food pantry in Brooklyn. In 2016, he completed the Coro Leadership New York program and also will begin serving on the board of a non-profit economic development agency in Brownsville Brooklyn. He recently started working in a role as an Associate in Deutsche Bank’s community development finance group, helping to finance schools, health centers and primarily affordable housing in low to moderate income communities.
