Outreach

There are many things a citizen can do to help the recovering addicts of Vermont.  I have found that the managers of the Turning Point Centers, and other Spoke managers are all generous and kind people who are in need of more assistance.  They need help with many things like getting more peer assistants, secretarial help in the office, and most importantly help getting the word out about the work they are doing.  Many of the managers that I talked to felt that the general public was oblivious to the prevalence of dangerous drugs in Vermont.  This ignorance has led to people being less wary of the drugs when they are tempted to start using.  With even the most basic drug education, the managers believe that they could positively fight the spread of drugs.  These great people need all of the help that they can get, and so I have attached their contact information for anyone who wishes to help.
