The University of South Carolina (USC) is hosting two Erasmus Mundus program alums for a virtual Q&A panel this Thursday. Open to interested students at all institutions.

Hear from Jordan Hammond (USC Class of 2020, Europubhealth+ Class of 2022) and Amanda Tregde (USC Class of 2023, IMBRSea Class of 2026) about their experiences applying for and receiving EMJM grants in public health and marine conservation.

Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Programs provide funding for recent grads to earn an interdisciplinary master’s in three or more European countries. From space medicine to global environment and development to animation, there’s lots of exciting opportunities to choose from. Deadlines vary by program but are typically between December and January.

James C. Gaither Fellowship for International Affairs Seniors & Recent Grads- Internal Deadline Dec. 30, 2024

The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a think tank located in Washington D.C., seeks highly qualified college graduates for its James C. Gaither Junior Fellows Program. Junior Fellows work directly with Carnegie Senior Researchers on specific projects across 12 different issue areas that are related to its core mission “to advance cooperation between nations and promote active international engagement by the United States.” Middlebury can endorse two students. Empower Through Health’s 2025 Global Health Experiential Fellowship – Rolling Applications Accepted

During this 5-week in-person opportunity in Uganda, students will work directly under the research mentorship of Yale School of Medicine researchers Dr. Robert Rosenheck and Dr. Yang Jae Lee. This fellowship offers a unique, hands-on experience where Ugandan and American students will work alongside local health professionals to assess and address gaps in clinical and mental health care. Fellows will gain valuable insight into global health challenges, develop leadership and research skills, and engage in cross-cultural collaboration. Douglass-O’Connell Global Summer Internship – Apps Due Nov. 29, 2024

Students seeking a rich international experience that combines real-world work experience in Ireland with an exciting overview of Irish history and culture are encouraged to apply for this opportunity. Award recipients will spend 8 weeks in Dublin, Ireland, focusing on social change, freedom, equality, social justice, and economic mobility.  First, second or third-year students with a GPA of 3.0+ who are Pell Grant eligible are welcome to apply. Join a Conversation with Aubrianna Wilson ‘23, Watson Fellow (11/12)

Aubrianna Wilson returns to Middlebury to share her experience as a Watson Fellow. She will share highlights from her project, “Innovation and Empowerment in Disability Communities.” She collaborated with artists, activists and advocates in the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand to understand how disability communities support one another, resist isolation, and increase inclusion with a focus on understanding how collective disability justice and innovation empowers disabled people. Associate Dean Lisa Gates will moderate the conversation and share details on the Watson application process.
