University of Utah’s Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) is currently accepting applications for its Summer Program for Undergraduate Research (SPUR) for summer 2026. 

This intensive paid 10-week research experience under the mentorship of a University of Utah faculty member. Student researchers work faculty mentors on projects ranging from health, medicine, law, robotics, nursing, engineering, architecture and more!

Submit Your Original Research to the Columbia Undergraduate Science Journal

Columbia University’s undergraduate-run, open-access science journal is currently accepting submissions for their next 2025 issue. They seek noteworthy student scientific research and analysis.  

Submission guidelines and manuscript criteria can be found here. They are accepting prospective papers until November 15 for the upcoming issue. Any submissions received after that date will be reviewed on a rolling basis for publication in the following edition.

This scholarship offers an opportunity for US students to study in the UK, with a goal of promoting cultural interchange and good will between Scotland and the US. This scholarship provides $30,000 to supports one year of graduate or advanced degree study.
