The result?
Our teachers are well prepared to make a tangible difference — and have an outstanding track record of doing so with innovative projects and a high level of commitment to teaching. Our teachers have been recognized at the state level as Teacher of the Year In Social Studies, and have earned National Board Certification. They’ve pursued administration and leadership tracks at their schools, and have developed district-wide videos to train fellow teachers on how to integrate literacy teaching into the curriculum. They’ve even authored education blogs that bring classroom-level challenges to the national stage. What difference would you make with Teach Kentucky?
That’s up to you.
But this is certain: With Teach Kentucky, you will be significant where you teach. You’ll be looked up to throughout the community while you’re here, and will be introduced to the natural charm of the region in its bluegrass music, heartland culture, and friendliness. You’ll build strong personal networks with civic leaders, your cohort of fellow Teach Kentucky teachers, and accomplished educators who will value your fresh insight even as they challenge your assumptions.
