On November 15 a dedication ceremony was held and a crowd showed up to celebrate the accomplishments of the team. Middlebury athletic teams continue to dominate. Over the past weekend the field hockey team beat Amherst to head to the NCAA final four; the women’s soccer team beat The College of New Jersey to head to the NCAA sectionals; both women and men’s cross-country saw success at the NCAA Regionals, women coming in first and men second, and are headed to the NCAA Championships; and, even though they lost in the NCAA Regional final, the women’s volleyball team beat Skidmore in the semifinal to advance deeper into the NCAA tournament than any team in school history.
