Trainings are sequential in order and build on each other; therefore, we expect you to attend regularly scheduled afternoon training sessions. Makeup sessions are for peer Writing Tutors and FYS Mentors who have legitimate conflicts (sports practice, orchestra, job interview, or a lecture required for a class). In advance of the regular session, please e-mail for permission to attend a makeup session. Make-ups will be given only with permission
and in advance for a valid reason. E-mail Emma Drucker for permission. Emma with
consult with Mary Ellen Bertolini and Yonna McShane, and then let you know if you have permission to attend a makeup session with Emma (PWTS) or Emma and Andrew (FYSMs).
Note for FYSMs:
There is no make-up for Banner training on Thursday, November 4, Lib. 201 from 5:00 to 6:30 pm.
Make-ups for Session 4 (Speaking) on Thursday, September 30, CTLR, 4:30-7:00 will only be granted for extraordinary reasons.
