Conflicts and Peacekeeping


Wars can emerge from various factors like competition over resources, nationalism, and individual leaders’ decisions. The international community tries to end conflicts through peacekeeping operations by organizations like the UN and NATO that monitor ceasefires and intervene militarily, but these operations have faced major issues like personnel sexually exploiting vulnerable local populations.
