Single Photo/Mise en Scene Analysis

How much can you say with a single image? This is your chance to find out. Take a photo using whatever camera you have access to (cell phones encouraged) with careful consideration of mise en scene. Embrace the qualities and limitations of your technology, be it a cell phone camera or not.

(If you don’t have access to a still photo camera, you can check one out at the circulation desk at the library).

Analyze your ¬†photo (in a 250-500 word statement) by deploying the terminology for visual film analysis offered in the Film Experience textbook.¬† Share your photo and, if you want, your analysis with your moodle group and comment on each other’s work!

Due: Feb 22nd to Moodle. Click here to upload photo and analysis in Moodle.
