New technologies are continuously introduced to the education environment, having an impact on learning, teaching, and creative inquiry. The Horizon Report, released jointly by the New Media Consortium and the Educause Learning Initiative, looks at trends, challenges and emerging technologies that are likely to have an impact on learning, teaching and creative inquiry in education in the next one to five years. In this session we ask participants to read the report, and arrive ready to discuss the following questions:
Did they get it right?
Will these trends have an impact at Middlebury?
What can we do to prepare?
