You will need two readers (including your adviser). You should select the second reader in consultation with your main adviser. The second reader should be an AMST faculty member. You may also seek informal input from additional Middlebury faculty.

As part of your project’s evaluation, you will be asked to sit for an oral defense. Your adviser will work with you to schedule the defense.
