AMST 0701 Deadlines for Fall 2022

• Project proposal due by the end of Week 1 (Friday, September 16 by noon ET) to the American Studies Program Director.
•  Prospectus and Bibliography due Wednesday, September 28, 2022 by 4:00 PM ET to your project adviser.
• A full rough draft (or its nontraditional equivalent*) is due to your adviser on Monday, November 14.
• Completed projects are due Friday, December 9 by 4:00 PM ET. All projects turned in after this date will be penalized according to the judgment of the department.

*Because projects will vary in form, each student must work with their adviser to arrange a schedule of deadlines for accomplishing research, writing, and/or production tasks appropriate to their specific project.

Please note: Meeting all deadlines is an important part of the process of completing your senior work. Final projects will be marked down 1/2 grade for each missed deadline.

If a student was initially approved to complete their senior work over two terms, alternative deadlines apply.
