Please use 12-point font and 1-inch margins.

Choose between a live theater or dance performance (Major Barbara or Tamar Rogoff Performance Project). Reflect and compose a critical response focusing on the following components: description, contextualization, interpretation, and evaluation. Move beyond “like it / don’t like it” responses toward a structural and intellectual comprehension of complex and abstract ideas in performance. In preparation for viewing the concert and writing the paper, students will acquaint themselves with the content and background of the performance they have chosen. Please use 12-point font and 1-inch margins.

Major Barbara — Oct 28-30, 8:00 p.m., Wright Theatre

Tamar Rogoff Performance Project — Oct 29-30, 8:00 p.m., MCFA, Dance Theatre

Trace their roots—who were/are their influences. Please use 12-point font and 1-inch margins.
