Oratory Now trains and hires students to help other students become more effective speakers.
Paid To Train
Oratory Now coaches complete 9 hours of training, at which time they are hired, paid for their training time, and become certified to work with other coaches leading workshop and group sessions. They may also be invited to assist more experienced coaches in our Classroom Coaching program.
Training to be a coach includes:
- practicing and receiving feedback your speaking skills
- practicing and receiving feedback your coaching skills
- group research and development of new methods for coaching oratory
Coaches are paid as Level B (Skilled) student employees of the College.
More experienced coaches, who perform administrative duties, are paid as Level C employees.
