LIS HOLIDAY POTLUCK

Mark your calendars for December 17th, for this year’s LIS Holiday Potluck get-together.

Please bring a snack or dessert to share and your own beverage. The party starts at 3:00 pm in the Panther Reading Room, on the upper level.

Also, since the library will be closing at 3:00 pm, make sure to bring your ID to get into the front doors.

Student Employee Holiday Buffet

LIS student employees were treated to a beautiful holiday buffet table filled with savory and sweet goodies on Thursday. Many thanks to Maura Clancy and Lisa Terrier for organizing and to LIS staff for contributing to the wonderful spread. The event was greatly appreciated by our student staff during the busy last week of classes.

Holiday Buffet for LIS Student Employees

Open to all LIS student employees.
Last year work groups in User Services combined forces and traditions to honor our student employees with a holiday buffet. Staff brought in buffet items, sweet and savory, and signed up for “shifts” to host the buffet. It was a a really fun event – students stopped by as their busy schedules allowed and staff were on hand to meet and greet and keep the buffet stocked.
This year we’d like to extend the invite to all LIS student employees.
