Please join Renee Wells, Director of Education for Equity & Inclusion, for a facilitated dialogue about classroom dynamics and the ways our internalized bias can impact our perceptions and expectations of our students. This discussion will create space for faculty to critically reflect on which students are being engaged, what that engagement looks like, and the impact that engagement can have on students’ feelings of inclusion in the classroom as well as student success. Faculty should leave with a better understanding of ways to be more intentional about establishing equitable and inclusive class dynamics.
