This three-part, monthly lecture and discussion series for faculty and staff, hosted by CTLR and sponsored by the Professor of the Practice program and the Sophomore Seminar in the Liberal Arts, will consider a range of contemplative exercises relevant to a liberal arts environment. Our topics will include:
- Friday September 28, 3:30-5pm: Contemplative practices related to reading and thinking. Location: Library 230.
- Friday October 26, 3:30-5pm: Teaching as sharing the fruits of one’s contemplation. Location: CTLR Lounge.
- Friday November 30, 3:30-5pm: Contemplation and justice. Location: CTLR Lounge.
Note—faculty and staff are welcome to attend just one, two or all three of the sessions.
