We plan to reconnect in a congenial setting and to share thoughts about how we have incorporated the “Slow Teaching” theme and approaches of our recent Teaching and Writing Retreat into our teaching in the first weeks of the new academic year. We could well find ourselves commenting on Berg and Seeber’s The Slow Professor: Challenging the Culture of Speed in the Academy.
