In this post, we’ll introduce you to a new member of the Middlebury College staff. Please join us as we welcome Keith to campus!
Keith Ellery is a new Associate Director of Public Safety. He comes to Middlebury College with 30 years of law enforcement experience to include the last 10 years as a Campus Police Officer at the University of New Haven in West Haven, CT. In addition to his patrol duties, he worked closely with the Res Life staff as a residential hall officer, conducted background investigations for new officers and was a staff liaison to the football team helping student athletes to succeed in their academic and personal lives . He is also an alumnus from the University of New Haven with an M.S. in Emergency Management and B.S. in Business Management. Prior to moving to Middlebury in June, he was a volunteer firefighter/EMT in his home town of Haddam, CT.
