United Way of Addison County will be hosting two full-day Bridges Out of Poverty trainings on October 18th and 19th. The training is held each day 9am-4pm. The Cost is $30 dollars each Day. You can attend one of the days OR both.

Bridges Out of Poverty Training Day One: Gives you a better understanding of individuals who are in poverty. This training will help social workers,teachers,community members,healthcare professionals,legal professionals and any individual better understand poverty. You will learn how to better serve our community members in poverty. You will have tools to improve treatment outcomes and increase the likelihood of success for those clients in poverty.
Day Two: Applying Concepts: Furthers our knowledge of Poverty. Teaches us skills to take back to our community and workplace and apply them directly to our sector.
