We know this feature has been missed and are pleased to be able to begin catching up on our new employee introductions! It will take us a few weeks to catch up, so if you don’t see someone that you are expecting to, please know that they are not forgotten and you can look forward to seeing them in a future posting. This week please join us in welcoming David and Chas to Middlebury.
David Ludwig has been hired as the Manager of Administrative Systems in Library and Information Systems (LIS) and is working with the Banner development team. He was formerly a systems analyst and Oracle database administrator at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in Louisville, Kentucky. David moved to Middlebury in April of this year with his wife Nicole, daughter Ruth, 3 1/2 years old, and a cat.
Charles “Chas” Lyons is a familiar face to Middlebury, although his work up until April has been based on the mountain. Chas began working at the Rikert Ski Touring Center in 1995 and in April of this year he joined the Middlebury College landscaping services team on the main campus. Chas is an active member of the Middlebury community having been a coach at Middlebury Union High School and Vergennes Union High School. He’s an avid Nordic skier and mountain biker, and occasional takes on triathlons.
