From now on, content that had been appearing in the monthly issue of MiddPoints will be posted at Middlebury’s “News & Announcements” blog, which will also take on the MiddPoints name, becoming “MiddPoints Weekly.”
Instead of submitting items to Human Resources, we ask that you now use MiddPoints Weekly for any announcements you have for faculty and staff. You can find MiddPoints at go/middpoints (if you’re not hooked up to the College network, it’s http://go.middlebury.edu/middpoints). And you can post your news items at go/announce (http://go.middlebury.edu/announce), after logging in with your Middlebury user name and password. Items will be approved daily and made public on the blog. Once a week, on Monday mornings, we will e-mail faculty and staff a “digest” version of the content that has been added in the past week. Please note that this new iteration of MiddPoints will not include classified ads.
We hope this shift will make information available in a more timely fashion, while also helping to cut down on all-faculty, all-staff e-mail messages. If you have questions, please send them to editor@middlebury.edu. Thank you.
