For students, faculty, and staff whose research involves human participants, I call your attention to a transition in leadership on the College’s Institutional Review Board (IRB). In preparation for new duties in the administration, James Davis completed his term as chair of the IRB in December. Beginning in January, Michael Sheridan (Sociology/Anthropology) will serve as chair of the committee.
I want to thank James for his many years of excellent service on the IRB and offer publicly my gratitude to Michael for assuming new duties in the middle of the academic year.
