E.Durkin Personal Update
After initial topic change met with Professor Allen. Meeting was extremely helpful and great guidance was given. Library has impressive amount of books on Liberia and the formation of a freed slave colony in West Africa. First time doing research predominantly out of books and I finding myself missing the easiness of highlighting articles on the computer…cannot really do that with library books!
Still need to get to special collections. Narrowing the topic and dividing information gathered into categories is also an important next step.
