We learn a lot about working-class cultural practices in Monday’s reading, and also to some extent about middle-class cultural practices in the same period.  But what was the corresponding experience of upper-class Americans in the postwar period? Can you find evidence (an ad, a house plan, etc.) that exemplifies elite living in the post-World War II years?
