Alyssa grew up in Massachusetts and graduated the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2005 with a B.A. in Political Science, B.A. in German, and an International Relations Certificate. She became fluent in German and traveled throughout Europe while studying abroad for two years in Germany. After working in the educational travel industry, she drove across the country to the West Coast to attend Monterey Institute of International Studies (MIIS), a Graduate School of Middlebury College. She recently graduated with a Master’s of Public Administration in International Management specializing in International Education, a Professional Project Development Certificate and cross-cultural/workshop development training. She has had training and hands on experience in project and program management, design and evaluation, and has worked on a number of action research projects with many organizations. Alyssa is passionate and determined to make a difference in the lives of others and sees herself as a bridge-builder who is effective and efficient as well as creative and innovative.
