The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) seeks a Government Affairs Assistant. Successful candidate will work within NACWA’s Government Affairs Group providing general administrative support; assisting in the preparation, editing and distribution of publications; arranging and coordinating meetings and conference calls; compiling member comments; tabulating survey data; and assisting in the development of responses to inquiries from members, federal agencies, Congress and other organizations. Excellent entry level position for individuals interested in environmental advocacy and public policy. Desired qualifications include a college degree and demonstrated writing, communication and organizational skills. The ability to establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with Association leadership, employees, governmental officials, and others is essential.
