LIFE. WORK. PURPOSE.
Middlebury College’s Careers in the Common Good Program (CCG) is dedicated to supporting Middlebury students and alumni pursuing social impact careers in environmental and social responsibility.

This site is meant to support you as you explore the many ways you can craft your next steps using a social impact lens to find meaningful work. For undergrads, use the social impact resources to find organizations that align with your issues, interests and, most importantly, what you like to do. This can be for internships, volunteer opportunities and jobs.  Come meet with a CCI advisor to help you translate your experiences into telling your ‘story’ as you self-reflect about “what matters to you?”

The CCG program is managed by Associate Director of Social Impact Careers, Tracy Himmel Isham, and any number of Peer Career Advisors (PCAs) working at the Center for Careers & Internships.  Posts on this blog do not translate to a direct endorsement by Middlebury College or the Center for Careers & Internships of the listed program.

HOW TO TAKE ACTION:

  • Come visit the Center for Careers & Internships (CCI) at Adirondack House
  • Quick Question drop-in hours during spring term with Peer Career Advisers (PCAs):  Monday – Friday @ ADK House from 1:30 – 3:30 PM and Wednesdays @ Crossroads Cafe from 7:00-9:00 PM (they can help you with resume and cover letter writing as well as point you in the right direction with online resources and refer you to the right career adviser )
  • Update your MOJO Profile so that you check off: “Tell me more about…Careers in the Common Good” AND sign up for this site to receive regular updates
