Do you maintain a website in Drupal, Moodle, MediaWiki, or WordPress? LIS is now offering expanded work sessions that cover all four of these web applications, providing you with “one stop shopping” when you need website assistance. Staff from Web Application Development, Curricular Technology, and User Services will be close by to lend a hand with your projects.
Our first expanded session will be offered Wednesday, April 30 at 3:00 pm. Please let us know you plan to attend; use our convenient online signup form.
If the url starts with https, the wiki puts a lock icon next to it because its a secure site. We don’t actually need to use the s when linking to anything in the LIS wiki. You simply use http and it will redirect to https. That gets rid of the lock, which gives one the impression its a restricted source when it is not. In addition, you can paste in the title (instead of the URL) of the destination page.
Several edits have been made to both the Borrowing and Circulation staff wiki pages. If you have linked to either site, you will probably need to update your links. Please let me know if you can’t find something that used to be readily available. Also, please feel free to update any out-of-date information. I did not update content, only the organization and location of the info.
