Several months ago Kevin Wasbauer left the Institute to pursue a new opportunity. In the interim, Shirley Coly stepped up to meet responsibilities formerly handled by Kevin and lead the development team in Monterey. We are grateful to Shirley for her leadership in this time of transition.
I now would like to announce an enhanced role for Shirley Coly. As Director of Development for the Middlebury Institute for International Studies, Shirley now serves as the chief fundraiser for the Institute, coordinating and collaborating with colleagues at the Vermont campus. Shirley has joined the Institute Leadership Group, and she is the primary Advancement representative for the Institute Board of Overseers. In this new role, Shirley reports to Associate Vice President and Director of Development Meghan Williamson, as we align fundraising efforts for all of Middlebury’s graduate and professional programs.
Shirley is a valued partner and colleague as we plan for the future, and we look forward to her continued leadership. Please join me in congratulating Shirley on this enhanced role.
