Me and my groupmate Jingwu chose the website of Theater Above to be our content donor. Theatre Above is a new 699 theatre facility in the heart of Shanghai, designed by the celebrated theatre artist Stan Lai and dedicated to the advancement of theatre art in the Chinese speaking world. Both Jing and I love watching drama plays and we are huge fan of Stan Lai, who is the tycoon of Chinese drama field. Besides, me myself have participated in the play during my college years. I played “Red Rose and White Rose” adapted from Zhang Ailing’s novel as my bachelor’s degree graduation show. Therefore, it’s so pleased to localize the page of Stan Lai’s Theater Above.

I customize the theme to Sydney in order to have the posters as sliders and also change settings like logo, slider and built up our menu. There are five categories of contents: home, about us, seminar, interview and contact us. I move some of the contents from the original website to our source pages, eg. I fill in the interview part with three posts.
For translation, we choose WPML as the plugin and I successfully localized the home page, and posts in the “interview” part.
But one thing to be perfected is the menu and the title of this website, it’s actually Falling into the background and is hard to see and to tell where is the menu，the title and the subtitle, although i’ve changed the background color of this header part to black, um, it seems but if you just scoll to the very beginning of rhis page，You can still not see the background. I think this is a part that can be reported to the WordPress team.
