We are happy to announce that Kathy Sparaco and Nathan Westrup have been promoted within their departments.
Kathy’s new title is Director of International Student and Scholar Services. In this capacity she continues with her previous assignment of managing all incoming services for international students and scholars such as visas, work related issues, tax matters etc. Additionally, she will now be in charge of things such as international student activities and overseeing a wide range of international student support such as orientation programs, cross-cultural lunches and special events.
Nathan’s new title is Assistant Dean for Academic Programs. In this role, Nate will take on greater responsibility for managing and coordinating academic requirements between the two schools and the Center for Advising and Career Services. Specifically, Nate will liaise with all necessary MIIS departments on issues relating to academics, curriculum, advising, student records, audits, career development, and other matters.
